Frames

It constantly amazes me how a frame can completely transform a piece of art.  Especially a vintage/gaudy/elaborate frame (more my style) - frames add a greater value to a piece, complete it as a whole, and even become an aesthetic element in the piece of art itself.  

As much as i can help it, I love to find/or attempt to refinish old frames that are unique.

But i won't lie, i hate framing.  Whether manually building them, painting them, finding the right size... its a lot more work than you would ever expect.  So for the pieces that are beautifully framed -know a lot of work went into them to get them that way!
